As I progress in these classes, I can see that some of my skills are being refined. However, I am also learning new skills as I go. I hope that you can see the new techniques in my cards.
The first card is an anniversary card. I like using heat-embossing powders with vellum. I think it gives the cards a very romantic feel. The technique used on this card was water coloring with the inks and a stencil.

The second card I made was a Birthday card. I liked using the embossing paste with the stencil on this one; look at the shimmer the paste creates. I finished it off with a contrasting Poppy to add to the fun.
